OUR STORY
MANOS (literally “hands” in Spanish) is the brainchild of three friends that wanted to create a unique spa experience by being one that offered more than just pampering and relaxation – but also promoted social and environmental consciousness.
Aside from the obvious -it being a place for manicures- Manos pays tribute to the various “hands” that go into making the Manos experience complete. The story of Manos is really a mosaic of different inspiring stories: from the empowered women that take care of our hands, to the farmers in various parts of the Philippines who cultivate the ingredients that go into the products we use.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
“Manos” evokes age-old Filipino values, which includes “pagmamano” - a sign of respect. At Manos, respect is apparent in the way we treat clients, employees and suppliers. Respect for the environment is a cornerstone of our establishment and as much as possible, we source locally (to reduce carbon footprint), use natural products (such as scrubs and lotions grown organically and nail lacquers without toxins), and incorporate eco-friendly designs into our architecture (LED lights, energy saving appliances).
